DENTAL CODES:
A dental code is a 5 digit number that dentist use to describe procedures. Your dentist with either write down the procedure or verbal tell you the procedures they preformed and it is your job to know the code that matches the procedure and know the price of that procedure.
This code is then entered into the clients chart, sent to insurance companies and used to create the history of a clients oral health care.
Most commonly, the administrative staff are required to understand these codes, however, dental assistants and hygienists also use these codes in the chart notes or letters to clients general dentists.

01103 - New Patient Exam
11113 - 3 Units Of Scaling
11111 - 1 Unit Of Scaling
02601 - Panoramic X-Ray
33111 - Root Canal
