THINK BLOG: Protect Your Eyes

IF YOU WANT WHITE TEETH AND SAFE EYES, PROTECTIVE GLASSES WILL DO THE TRICK.

During a Teeth Whitening appointment the cool blue LED light will turn off and on no less than 3 times. Averagely the whitening machines give off strong LED light, the stronger the light the more powerful the machine. Even if you change the level of the whitening machine to "low" instead of "high" the LED light is strong enough to cause damage to your eyes.

What type of damage?

Immediately After - It would be hard to see and cause spotted vision

Long Term - It can drastically weaken your eyesight

How do you prevent this?

We recommend both the technician and the customer where protective glasses. During a tooth gem appointment it is even more important, a curing light has a VERY strong light since it comes to a direct point.
