THINK BLOG: Temporary Tooth Gems #Trending

WE'VE BEEN NOTICING A NEW TREND, AND WE ARE HERE TO SPILL THE BEANS ON TEMPORARY TOOTH GEMS.

Just a quick review, tooth gems are a tiny crystal that is applied to your teeth using dental adhesives. They are semi-permanent since they are expected to last 1-12 months with proper care.

With Think Coconut adhesives, it is next to impossible to label tooth gems are temporary (since they stay on forever..) until now.

Some clients only want a tooth gem for the weekend or a few days, here are some hack that will allow your gems to fall off quicker than expected.

1. Do not use bond - Bond ensures the longevity of a tooth gem and since we are seeking a temporary gem, you should skip this step.

2. Do not use etch - Etch is the prepping agent for the tooth gems, which means it is preparing the tooth for the other adhesives. When you eliminate the etch it ensures the tooth gem will not last long.

3. Only use composite - Composite A2 hardens and creates a seal around the gem. This will allow the gem to stay on (slightly) and will defiantly fall off within a couple of days.

Tooth gems are meant to be a fun accessory and we love to see new trends form around these beauties!
